Thinking this is absolutely an awesome dream of an opportunity for you artists I wanted to share a bit of info with you. In case you did not know, San Francisco, CA the famous Mission District is home to one of the first Levi's factories. This summer they've opened the first of many community print shop. During the months of July and August they are hard at work teaching classes on classic letterpress machinery, screen-printing designs, setting type.
If you live in the San Francisco area then, great you may still have time to see if they have workshop openings, if not check it out for next summer. I hear they plan to expand the idea to other cities and communities. You can read more about it for yourself here. In addition, they have a bandana print shop. The best bandana print or art will be selected for a limited edition series produced in the SF Print shop. The image below the first winner.

We've all heard "If you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all", but if you do then write it down, and submit it to Levi's. Write a message you'd like to send to the workers of the world and if you're lucky, Levi's will select your message and print it on their fancy letterpress at their Workshop. That's a promise, so get to work.
Every two weeks, five messages will be selected as part of a limited edition poster. Grand prize will earn you a trip to San Francisco for two letterpress classes at local favorite, San Francisco Center for the Book.
